The Waterloo Centre for German Studies hosted the international conference: Diaspora Experiences: German-Speaking Immigrants and their Descendants in August 2006.

More than 50 speakers from all over the world, guests from abroad, as well as from the local community, attended many of the talks and other events. The organizing committee would like to thank all of them and all of our sponsors for making this event a success.
